Art is beautiful. However, not everyone is a Da-Vinci and some people, including yours truly, are insufferable dunces. But hey, we do have technology on our side. Google has launched a brand new tool that will match whatever you draw up to professional drawings. Once the company is done deploying its machine learning smarts, your ‘whatever you have drawn up’ will look like it has been done up by a professional.
The idea is pretty simple. You draw up whatever. Once you are done, Google matches whatever you have done with its own data base of art. It is pretty vast you see, so it manages to come up with whatever you were trying to draw in the first place. Google actually gives you a few options just to make sure that it has gotten what you were trying to draw. Simply choose one of those options and voila!
Again, this feature is based off machine learning. So it will only get better with time. Google says that this was actually inspired by its Quick Draw feature, that lets users play a game wherein they have to draw something and hope that the AI recognizes it within 20 seconds.
Check out the video below to learn more. If you are interested in submitting your own drawings to help the rest of the mankind, you can do that here. On the other hand, if you would like to let the inner artists out, simply go here.
